Are you ready to buy the Nintendo Switch 2 for yourself or a loved one on your shopping list? Us too!
At launch, the Switch 2 was already the fastest-selling console in the world, and pretty impossible to find.
Our advice? Don’t fall for the $600+ versions. While those are tempting and typically in stock when other places aren’t, if you’re patient you’ll eventually snag one at the standard $449-$499 price range.
While you can pick up the standalone system almost anywhere now, seasonal shopping and discounts at retailers like Walmart and Best Buy might make the bundle harder to find.
Most retailers will offer a “Notify me when it’s back in stock” link for you to drop your email and receive stock alerts.
To view holiday discounts on the Switch 2 Mario Kart bundle, you might be required to sign in to or create a user account on retailer sites.
Here are the retail outlets to check for holiday gifting and deals:
Amazon
Amazon’s one of the retailers that offered a surprising Cyber Monday $50 discount on the bundle, and it’s unsurprising that stock went quickly.
The site has consistent Nintendo Switch 2 stock, but finding the bundle might require some vigilance.
Target
At Target, you’ll be able to find the Switch 2, but the Mario Kart bundle might be a bit harder to pick up.
Best Buy
If you act fast, you could grab the Mario Kart bundle at the same price as the standalone console at Best Buy.
Walmart
Walmart’s another retailer that’s offering a discounted Mario Kart bundle—for the same price as the standard system.
Nintendo
When in doubt, the Nintendo site is another place to visit for standard pricing.
