T-Mobile deals usually require…
1. Signing up for a new plan
2. Trading in an old phone
As with Cyber Monday deals at other carriers, the biggest discounts at T-Mobile are tied to new lines on unlimited data plans or trade-in rebates.
Because of this, you’ll definitely want to make sure you read the fine print. Note that the biggest discounts are locked behind the higher-end Experience Beyond or Go5G Next plans, which can cost an eye-watering $100 per month for a single line.
If I were looking to upgrade my phone, the first thing I’d do is add up my total costs over the duration of a 24-month plan. You can then, of course, subtract your various Cyber Monday discounts from that total amount. Note that T-Mobile always throws in your third line free, so that’s worth bearing in mind if you’re a multi-line user.
