With Halloween and the upcoming holidays, lighting up your house is likely in your future. Snagging a set of durable outdoor lights that can withstand weather and change colors with the seasons is a great way to get in a festive mood, but the best lights don’t come cheap. One of our favorite smart light brands, Govee, is known for an array of fun lights, and right now, both Amazon and Walmart have cut $66 off the regular price of an outdoor light set that should last you for years.
You can currently pick up a set of 12-string Govee outdoor deck lights for $104 at Amazon and over at Walmart. The catch? There’s no telling how long this price will last, as Amazon has it listed as a countdown offer, with only a few hours remaining. We suspect Walmart will follow suit.
Easily controlled by an App, you can set up these wired lights and have them sync to music, time them to switch on and off, and choose from over 60 scene modes and 16 million colors. Each light offers up to 180 lumens, making them just bright enough to handle the dark nights without ruining the ambient atmosphere.
The lights are rated IP65, with an IP-65 control box as well, designed to handle the damp and cold of winter. In fact, they can handle temperatures from negative 4 degrees Fahrenheit all the way up to 104 degrees Fahrenheit (minus 20 to 40 degrees Celsius). Be advised that the adapter has a decent IP rating of 44, but it’s not as weatherproof as the rest of the light set, so Govee advises keeping this in an outdoor waterproof box.

Why this deal matters
Govee is a reliable brand for making some of our favorite indoor lamps and smart lights, and their permanent outdoor light sets are a coveted set. However, at $170 for a string of 12, it’s a tough price to swallow. Getting them down to $104, just in time for the holiday season, makes this a super sweet deal. But like we said, it is set to expire in a matter of hours, so jump on this offer while you can.
