I spent the last month using the Dreame H15 Pro Heat wet and dry vacuum, and it is the new favorite gadget in my household, but is it one of the best vacuum cleaners around?

Its sleek looks and self-cleaning cycles make it easy to maintain and the heated wash mode is incredibly effective. But what are my favorite things about it? Keep reading to find out.

    Hard floor cleaning

I thought the floors in my house were sparkling, as I mop every other day and always have a clean mop head to show for it. But the water that came out of the used water tank of the Dreame was frankly disgusting.

The vacuum combined the power of the 185º F water and the Dreame multi-surface cleaning solution to clean the floors like never before. There were no grimy water streaks that appeared when Tom’s Guide tested the Dyson V15s Detect Submarine, and the floors genuinely sparkled like Edward Cullen afterwards.

The RGB sensors on the vacuum can also detect what clean setting is needed in smart mode, making it easier to tackle even the toughest of spills.

    Self-cleaning

The charging dock of the Dreame H15 Pro Heat actually doubles as a self-sanitizing dock. The vacuum dock uses a 212º Fahrenheit wash and a 194º Fahrenheit hot-air drying cycle to completely clean and dry the roller inside the vacuum.

Some wet and dry vacuums that don’t have this feature can start to become smelly and damp, requiring you to change out the mop roller more frequently. This sanitization method ensures the roller mops can work for as long as possible.

The H15 Pro Heat also comes with an extra roller head, so that when your old one finally gives out, you have a new one ready to go.

    No pet mess… ever

As any dog owner will tell you, once the wet weather of winter arrives, there is no stopping the muddy paw prints that come along with it. The door to my backyard gets covered in mud and leaves daily, but the H15 Pro Heat makes cleaning this up super simple.

I so in with the vacuum setting first to clean up all of the loose dirt and leave debris, and then use the heat setting on the mop to clean up every last bit of mud. This doesn’t even take me ten minutes, and is the easiest way to keep your floors sparkling, no matter how big the paw prints are.

The vacuum setting also tackles pet hair easily, as it has an anti-tangle system that prevents any hair from wrapping around the roller.

Those are my favorite things the vacuum can do, but to find out more you can read this full Dreame H15 Pro Heat review.
