We know and love Drybar, especially the Double Shot Oval, which, frankly, is the best blow-dryer brush we’ve tried. Reviewer Nena Farrell has fine, curly hair that tends to frizz, and she says the Double Shot can smooth it out and still deliver volume, thanks to its ionic technology and 2.4-inch oval barrel. The bristles are a combination of nylon and tuft that latches onto your hair, but it doesn’t tug or pull. It has three speed settings (cool, medium, high), maxing out at 275 degrees Fahrenheit. By the way, the Triple Shot Interchangeable Blow-Dryer Brush is on sale for $133 ($57 off) if you’re craving some more variety.

As I said, we love Dry Bar, and the Prep Rally Prime & Prep Detangler is our favorite heat protectant spray for damp hair. It’s lightweight and formulated without phthalates, parabens, or sulfates. Instead, it’s fortified with UV protection, biotin, seaberry oil, and vitamins; editor Kat Merck says the formula is soft and hydrating but not overly heavy. The “Noir” scent smells slightly minty, with notes of ginger and sandalwood. There’s also a Coconut Colada scent that seems to be just as widely available. Drybar’s Hot Toddy Heat Protectant Mist is also discounted to $20 ($11 off) for dry hair.

This is one of the more affordable (and FDA-cleared) LED masks available, and with this Cyber Monday deal, it’s even more budget-friendly. The Glotech Mask Pro combines red and blue light therapy to help clear acne and manage oil production. Reviewer Nena Farrell noticed a healthier glow, with scabs and breakouts healing faster and without the usual scarring. After three months of consistent use, reviewer Kat Merck noticed a subtle softening of fine lines, though she notes it’s barely noticeable in certain lighting. If you’re a fan of the LED Esthetics Glotech Mask Pro, may I recommend the brand’s Glotech Collar? Editor Adrienne So tested this for our LED devices guide, and she found it incredibly user-friendly. Because it’s on your neck and chest, it’s easier to use while multitasking. It’s a small battery that lasts for two 10-minute sessions, but it’s rechargeable via USB-C and doesn’t take too long to charge. LED Esthetics does recommend its proprietary serums to amplify the results, but you’re fine with just your go-to moisturizer.

Reviewer Kat Merck tested the Airstrait on her 3a curly hair, and while she did have to go over it with a traditional flat iron afterward, she appreciated Dyson’s Hyperdymium motor and the glass bead thermistors that regulate temperature. It’s a wet-to-dry straightener that uses airflow to dry and straighten hair simultaneously. If you do have really thick, coarse, or coily hair, I’d maybe think twice about the Airstrait, but it’s a game-changer for those with fine or wavy hair. This is a luxe hair tool that doesn’t go on sale too often, so if there was a time to snag, it’s now.

Whether you need an oscillating or a sonic electric toothbrush is really a matter of preference. I’d also recommend this toothbrush to people with smaller mouths or narrower jaws because of its slimmer brush head. The cold setting is everything after long hauls, but really, it’s just a soothing little ritual, no matter where you are. The temperature stays consistent throughout the six-minute cycle, and a quick flash at the halfway point tells you when to switch sides. This bonnet attachment is brilliant if you detest holding up a dryer to your curls, and it costs $13. It’s a universal attachment that’s compatible with most standard hair dryers. Once the hose is attached using the Velcro strap, the hood goes over your head and around your hair. It’s designed with two layers; the first layer gets pumped with air that is then dispersed to the second layer through the ventilation holes. Drying time varies, but former WIRED reviewer Medea Giordano was able to dry her long, curly hair in about 30 minutes. There are several similar options on Amazon, but we like this one because it has plenty of room for long hair to rest naturally, rather than get scrunched up.
