Turns out, three mutants are better than two: after Rogue, Marvel Rivals is adding another X-Man in the form of Deadpool.
NetEase and Marvel shared the news during the Game Awards, which saw the Merc With a Mouth show up to loudly and proudly declare himself as the next hero to join the fray. The trailer also seemingly confirmed that renowned Marvel Comics monster hunter, Elsa Bloodstone, will be the second hero of the season alongside him. From the animated trailer, we can see Deadpool’s got his guns and swords on hand, ditto his regeneration and chatty personality. How NetEase translates the character to actual Marve Rivals gameplay, we’ll have to wait and find out in the coming weeks.
Deadpool will join Marvel Rivals as part of its sixth season on January 16, 2026, followed by Elsa at a later date.
