Every week, Netflix unleashes a bunch of new content for viewers to stream. Watching all of it would take you more time than humanly possible, so I start my Friday by selecting three top choices for the weekend and week to come. We’re just about in November, and in addition to the traditional massive first-of-the-month movie drop, we have a new season of Squid Game: The Challenge and more.

In Waves And War (Nov. 3)
One of the most fascinating developments in treating PTSD is the rise of ketamine therapy, where the horse tranquilizer enables humans to journey deep into their psyches. New documentary In Waves And War follows Afghanistan veteran Marcus Capone, who returns from service unable to cope with his experiences and ready to explore new ways of seeing.
Squid Game: The Challenge: Season 2 (Nov. 4)
It’s kind of deranged to take the dystopian murder game show of Squid Game and turn it into something people can really do (without the murder), but we live in a deranged world. Squid Game: The Challenge is actually pretty fun, with 456 players referred to only as numbers forced to participate in tricked-out versions of childhood games under the watch of masked guards.

Death By Lightning (Nov. 6)
Assassinating a president is one of the most ambitious crimes a person can do, and it’s pretty astonishing how many times it’s happened in our country’s short history. New miniseries Death By Lightning re-enacts the bizarre circumstances around James A. Garfield, who never wanted the job in the first place, and Charles Guiteau, who believed that Garfield owed him so much, the only way to make things right was with his murder. Great cast in this one.
