You can now finally transfer your playlists from competing services to Spotify. This isn’t an entirely new feature, as third parties have long offered this. You can transfer through TuneMyMusic, which is a service that has been offering playlist transfers between online music streaming services for quite some time now.
You can now transfer playlists from competing services to Spotify
The feature is present within Spotify. However, it’s only for playlists you want to move into Spotify, and not out of it to other platforms. There are no limits to the number of playlists you can import or the number of songs each playlist can contain.
To transfer playlists to Spotify, head to Library in the mobile app, scroll to the bottom, then tap the “Import your music” option and next follow the prompts to connect with TuneMyMusic. Choose the competing platform that has your playlists. Once you select which playlists you want to import to Spotify, they will be transferred so you can start grooving.
Rolling out globally
Spotify says the ability to transfer playlists to Spotify will roll out globally over the coming days. So, if you don’t see it yet, please be patient; it will appear eventually.

Spotify’s personalization engine learns from your taste and offers personalized playlists.
