Out of all the smart security cameras out there, the Blink Mini 2 is one of our favorite indoor options. It’s an affordable camera to begin with at its full price of $40, but thanks to this early Black Friday deal from Amazon, you can grab a pair of the indoors cams for just $28, dropping them down to only $14 each. That’s a record low price. If you prefer to shop at Best Buy, the same offer is available there. Grab however many you need before the deal expires or worse, sells out.

This model is the latest version of the Blink Mini, which means it has some improvements over the original model. At the top of the list of improvements includes a built-in spotlight for lighting the way at night as well as a color night vision mode should that be a preferred option. The camera itself can be used indoors or outdoors thanks to a weather-resistant power adapter, while this model also has a wider field of view of 143 degrees. There’s also person detection via the optional Blink subscription.

Hey, did you know? CNET Deals texts are free, easy and save you money.

Other notable features include a 1080p HD video with support for streaming live video as well as motion detection and smart notifications. In addition, you can opt to use the Mini 2 as a plug-in chime for the Blink Video Doorbell.

All of that and more makes this one of the best early Black Friday deals you’re likely to find right now, but you’ll want to act sooner rather than later as this is only available while supplies last.

OUTDOOR SECURITY CAMERA DEALS OF THE WEEK

Deals are selected by the CNET Group commerce team, and may be unrelated to this article.

    Why this deal matters

This pair of Blink Mini 2 cameras are down to an all new record low price. Normally one camera costs $40 but right now you can get two for $28. This brings them down to $14 each. Previously, we saw these cameras come down to $35 for two. This beats the previous record low by a landslide. And if you need to keep an eye on your furry friends or your front door during your holiday travel, this is one of the best (and cheapest) ways to do so.
