The Outer Worlds follows players as they journey through the Halcyon space colony, ruled by a group of corporations. As the sole survivor of a ship explosion, you’re awakened decades later by a scientist and are asked to rescue other colonists throughout Halcyon and take down these corporations. The story is driven by player choice, as you’ll be able to decide what to say and who to speak to. If push comes to shove, you an even shoot your way out of situations! It’s incredibly dynamic and the structure lends to plenty of replay value. The Expansion Pass also includes the Peril on Gorgon and Murder on Eridanos expansions, giving you even more content to explore.
The Outer Worlds is now available on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S. The game is also on Xbox Game Pass. Principal writer Will Greenwall awarded it an “Excellent” rating.
