Having proved he can pack a punch after three seasons of Reacher, Alan Ritchson is taking a swing at something a bit lighter, as he leads the cast in comedy caper Playdate, which lands on Prime Video this week.
Lining up alongside comic veteran Kevin James, the movie pitches Ritchson as Jeff, a suburban stay-at-home father who leads a secret, violent double life.
When Jeff invites fellow new dad Brian (James) on what appears to be an innocent playdate, the afternoon soon descends into full-on chaos as the two fathers and their kids suddenly find themselves hunted by a relentless group of mercenaries.
With a cast that also includes Isla Fisher, Sarah Chalke, Alan Tudyk, and Stephen Root, expect action-packed laughs aplenty when this film lands on the streaming service. Scroll on to learn when to watch Playdate and more details on how to watch.
