The Defective Detective
During a recent interview at the Sitges Film Festival (via World of Reel), Terry Gilliam stated he’s eager to direct The Defective Detective—a script he wrote over thirty years ago—as his last film. The story concerns “a detective who enters a surreal dream world through the imagination of a young girl.”
I’m now more interested in a script I wrote thirty years ago for Paramount. There are new people at the studio now, and I have a new agent in Hollywood, and I’m trying to move the project forward […] I’d like to direct it before I die. It’s called The Defective Detective and it should be my last film.

Deadline reports James Badge Dale, Matty Matheson, and Imogen Poots will star alongside Chase Sui Wonders, Sophie Wilde, Stanley Simons, Young Mazino, and Stephen Root in October, a “Halloween fugitive thriller” at A24 from Green Room director Jeremy Saulnier.
Hocus Pocus 3
During her recent appearance on Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen (via Screen Rant), Bette Midler revealed she’s read the script for Hocus Pocus 3 and “a lot of it” was “brilliant.”
They sent a script and a lot of it was brilliant. So, I got very excited, and now we’re trying to figure out what it is and how it’s going and where it’s going to be and how much it’s going to cost.
The Incredible Hulk
Mark Ruffalo discussed what’s holding back a solo Hulk movie in a recent interview with GQ.
Yeah, I’d love to have a solo Hulk movie. I don’t know if you know the story of that, but it’s not really owned by Marvel; it’s a Universal property. I don’t know if it’ll ever really come to be, honestly. We keep talking about it, what it would be. There’s been so many Hulk movies already, it’s like, does anyone really want another one? But I’d love one, and I do think the audiences would be into it if we could crack the nut of it.

I’m not sure what I can say, other than I’m in this season a bit more, which is fun. I’m definitely in on the action, as you say, quite a bit more, which was great to have a Hera really, kind of like, you know, getting some stuff done.
