Lian Li has announced the RS Series, a new line of ATX 3.1 power supplies built around what the company calls the world’s first rotatable AC inlet, giving PC builders more flexibility when routing cables in tight or unconventional layouts.

The rotating inlet allows the PSU’s power socket to pivot depending on the PC case orientation, which can be especially useful in compact builds where the rear cut out or internal clearance restricts cable positioning.

When the inlet is rotated, the PSU’s modular output ports face sideways, making them easier to access after installation. Lian Li has also added 24-pin motherboard outputs on both sides of the PSU, giving builders two routing options for cleaner wiring paths.

Both RS models (1000W and 1200W) are fully modular and certified 80 Plus Gold, PPLP Gold and Cybenetics Platinum, with Lian Li specifying efficiency above 90% at typical loads. Internally, the units use a mix of EPCOS capacitors, chosen for compact size and durability, alongside Japanese capacitors for long-term reliability.

Cooling is also handled by a 135 mm FDB fan that supports a Zero RPM mode for silent operation at low and mid loads.

Lian Li includes soft, flat modular cables designed for easier shaping inside tight spaces, along with magnetic cable ties to help keep builds tidy.

Select models also ship with the RS Hub, a detachable module that adds four USB 2.0 headers and can support up to eight internal devices. The module can be mounted directly onto the PSU or magnetically attached elsewhere inside the case. It draws power either from the PSU or via SATA when used freely in the case. The Hub is included with the 1200W versions and optional on the 1000W models.

The RS Series power supplies are available now and prices as follows:

    • RS1000G Black (No Hub) – $154.99
    • RS1000G White (No Hub) – $159.99
    • RS1000G Black with RS Hub – $159.99
    • RS1000G White with RS Hub – $164.99
    • RS1200G Black with RS Hub – $179.99
    • RS1200G White with RS Hub – $184.99
