But as you might expect, it doesn’t come cheap. With a starting price of $799, deals are rare, though not impossible. Those looking to upgrade can trade in their old smartwatch for hundreds off. Plus, there are still a handful of previous-gen models floating around, which are a good pick if you’re on a tighter budget.

Apple Watches are especially great buys for fitness and wellness enthusiasts who own iPhones. Keep in mind, however, that Apple is currently in a patent dispute with Masimo. The most recent update is that the federal appeals court upheld the US International Trade Commission’s ruling that Apple cannot sell Apple Watches with the blood oxygen sensing feature. Right now, Amazon is offering select Apple Watch Ultra 3 configurations for just $780, a modest $19 savings.
Apple Watch Ultra 3 at Best Buy: $799
Best Buy isn’t offering direct discounts on the Apple Watch Ultra 3. However, you can knock up to $250 off the starting price with an eligible trade-in. The Apple Watch Ultra 2 will net you the most credit but older models and smartwatches from other brands also are accepted.
You’ll also get four free months of Apple Fitness Plus and three free months of Apple Music with the purchase, if you’re a new or returning subscriber.

Apple Watch Ultra 3 at AT&T: $800
AT&T is currently offering $100 off the Apple Watch Ultra 3 when you add a line of service. Credits will be delivered via 36 monthly bill credits. Plus, AT&T has its own trade-in program where you can exchange your old phone, tablet or smartwatch for credit.
Best Apple Watch Ultra 2 deals
Released in September 2023, the Apple Watch Ultra 2 was Apple’s most advanced smartwatch until the Ultra 3 arrived. It maintains the overall design of its predecessor but upgrades to the S9 chip for faster speeds and better battery efficiency. It also features an extra‑bright display. Athletes benefit from advanced metrics for running and cycling, while the extended altitude range is a boon for hikers and scuba divers.
Apple no longer sells this model directly, but you can still find it at select retailers.
Apple Watch Ultra 2 at Best Buy: $599
Best Buy is offering $200 off on the Apple Watch Ultra 2. You can also take advantage of the tech retailer’s trade-in program to score some more savings.
You can technically earn up to $250 off but that’s only if you’re downgrading from a more recent model. For the Apple Watch Series 9 and older, the most you’ll save is about $110. Best Buy is also throwing in three months of Apple Music and Apple Fitness Plus with the purchase, as long as you’re a new or returning subscriber.
Apple Watch Ultra 2 at AT&T: $700
AT&T is offering a $100 off this watch when you add a line. Credits will be delivered via 36 monthly installments.
Best Apple Watch Ultra deals
Apple has discontinued the first‑gen Apple Watch Ultra and most retailers have stopped stocking it. Deals and direct discounts are rare but refurbished models can save you some cash. Apple doesn’t currently have any refurbished Ultras in stock.
Apple Watch Ultra at Back Market: $372
Back Market has a selection of refurbished Apple Watch Ultra models, ranging from fair to premium condition. They’re slightly more affordable than Apple’s refurbished models (which are not available right now), although they may exhibit more signs of wear and tear.

What is the best Apple Watch Ultra deal right now?
Like most of the latest Apple devices, direct discounts on the Ultra 3 are still pretty hard to come by. However, Amazon does have a couple of configurations available for $780, which is a modest $19 discount. If you’re upgrading from an older model, Apple’s trade-in program could save you up to $335 right now, which is the biggest discount you’ll find.
