If you’re as excited as our tech experts about the latest Apple products, then it’s likely you’ve seen their prices, too. The iPhone 17 lineup starts at $829, and the Apple Watch 11 series clocks in at a $399 starting price. If you’re up for potentially changing your carrier or if you’re an existing Verizon customer, there’s a pretty smashing deal for you. Right now, Verizon is giving away an Apple iPad (A16) and an Apple Watch 11 when you buy an iPhone 17 (valued at $830 or higher). Not only that, it’ll throw the phone in for free, too. That’s an Apple product bundle of three for $0. Here’s what you have to do to qualify.
First, you’ll commit to purchasing an iPhone 17 and adding a new line. If you’re an existing customer, you can upgrade your line to qualify (some exceptions apply). Select your phone and add it to the cart. Then, you’ll be prompted to add the watch and the iPad, one at a time, to the cart. A service plan is required for both the watch and the tablet. There is no trade-in required.
In her detailed assessment of the iPhone 17, CNET’s Senior Technology Reporter Abrar Al-Heeti told readers to skip the iPhone 17 Pro, as the upgrades offered on the iPhone 17 base model would be more than satisfactory for most, including the camera.
The Apple Watch 11 has some great improvements over previous-gen watches, especially if you’re still rocking an Apple Watch 9 or Apple Watch SE. Our reviewer, Lead Writer Vanessa Hand Orellana, noted especially the Apple Watch 11 has a longer battery life than the Apple Watch 10.
And the A16 iPad is a solid basic iPad for anyone, though it does lack Apple Intelligence. Our expert Scott Stein said of this model, “Apple has kept a great affordable option in the mix for kids and people who just want something straightforward.”
Importantly, note that there is a one-time activation fee of $40 per device, so you will need to cover those fees up-front. However, your new Apple gear is essentially free — as long as you maintain your three new lines of service for three years. The promotional credit will be applied as bill credits over a 36-month period. If you leave Verizon as a carrier before the end of this period, you’ll owe the remaining balance, so be sure you’re ready to commit before signing up for this deal.
