Sony has a number of headphones that are currently the subject of Black Friday deals. However, if you’re a bass happy music fan, then there’s only one that should attract your attention.
The Sony ULT Wear headphones have been reduced by 26%, down from £119 to £88.20.
For our US readers, Amazon US has the headphones down to $148, down from $249.99.
You’ll notice the discrepancy in discounts between the UK and US, and that’s because when the ULT Wear headphones first launched in the UK, they were priced at £179, so based on the RRP, this is a bigger saving than you might think.

We have reviewed this particularly model and we did not give it the best rating. The sound is not the most subtle given this is a bassy pair of headphones, so it’s rather taste dependent. If you like headphones with alot of bass then keep on reading.
They support LDAC, so with Android mobile devices, they can stream higher-res music from your smartphone to the headphones themselves, apt if you subscribe to a music streaming service such as Tidal or Qobuz.
Battery life is 50 hours with ANC off and 30 hours with noise-cancellation on, which is the same as the WH-1000XM6. The noise-cancellation we found to be pretty decent, curbing the sounds of the environment solidly.
The headphones are well made, as you’d expect from a pair of Sony headphones, and they’re comfortable to wear thanks to their foam-padded earpads.
This deal is rather dependent on whether you enjoy a bassy sound or not. If you don’t, there are plenty of other deals over Black Friday that you can have a look at. If you do enjoy a more bassy sound, then the Sony ULT Wear headphones have never been as affordable as they have been with this Black Friday deal.
