CES is almost over, and with that, we’ve handed out a ton of awards for tech products that blew us away at this year’s event. We’ve seen a lot of really cool stuff, but everything we’ve listed here is what we think are the best products to make an appearance. These are the products that we want to own, and that we think you’ll want to own as well. NASA officials said Thursday they have decided to bring home four of the seven crew members on the International Space Station after one of them experienced a “medical situation” earlier this week. The space agency has said little about the incident, and officials have not identified which crew member suffered the medical issue. James “JD” Polk, NASA’s chief health and medical officer, told reporters Thursday the crew member is “absolutely stable” but that the agency is “erring on the side of caution” with the decision to bring to return the astronaut to Earth. The ailing astronaut is part of the…

Lumus got a major boost in brand recognition when one of its waveguides was selected for use in the Meta Ray-Ban Display glasses. But that already feels like old tech now because at CES 2026, the company brought some of its latest components to the show and based on what I saw, they seem poised to seriously elevate the optical quality of the next wave of high-end smartglasses. When the Meta Ray-Ban Displays glasses came out, they wowed users as they were (and still are) one of a handful of smartglassess to feature a full-color in-lens display with at least a…

Joe Maring / Android AuthorityTL;DR We’ve managed to enable the upcoming “My Calling Card” feature in Google’s Phone app. You can now create your own Calling Card, choose a photo, customize fonts, and control who sees it. If someone hasn’t customized your card already, they’ll see your version when you call. Google introduced Calling Cards for Android last year. Just like iOS, Calling Card on Android lets you customize how incoming calls from friends and family appear on your phone. It’s a great feature, but has been lacking something big Apple offers with Contact Posters on iPhones since the feature…

Since the washing machine and dryer were invented, humans have dreamed about offloading all the other chores involved with laundry, including sorting, loading and folding. I watched Switchbot’s Onero H1 attempt the first two of these tasks, and I wasn’t impressed, especially since, unlike most other humanoid robots we’ve seen at CES 2026, you might actually be able to buy this one. A not-so-capable robotThe Onero H1 is another one of the many vaguely humanoid cleaning and sorting robots that popped up at CES. The H1 is designed to be a general-purpose chore robot, capable of not only doing laundry but also loading a dishwasher and…

All the way back in 2021, Apple put a notch on its laptops. Five generations later, it’s still here. But what’s truly surprising is that Apple hasn’t played around with any meaningful utilities around it, unlike the Dynamic Island that gives a functional twist to the pill-shaped hole on your iPhone’s screen.  Thankfully, the developer community has built a handful of cool apps that turn the notch into an activity hub. From music playback and calendar control to a tiny viewfinder for the webcam, the notch can now do a lot.  In my most recent trip to the Mac community…
