In our review, we approved of the low-priced portable’s comfy keyboard, wide range of connectivity options, and surprisingly capable RTX 5050 graphics card, which shreds in 1080p play. It is a bit chunky-feeling, which is to be expected from a budget gaming machine, and a 512GB SSD will struggle with too big a Steam library, but on the whole this is a very solid pick for gaming on the cheap.

iBuyPower is one of several prebuilt brands competing to grab attention, and while it pumps out way too many different machines and configurations for us to review them all, we generally approve of the results. If you’re hunting a desktop that packs the latest Nvidia graphics and still comes in at under a thousand bucks, Walmart has a machine for you. This is a more than capable midrange battlestation with a RTX 5070 GPU, which on its own retails for $580. While the Intel Core i5 processor doesn’t dazzle, it gets the job done, and the RAM and storage loadout are acceptable.
