If you’re considering upgrading to an OLED TV but the sticker shock of new models is holding you back, you may want to shop refurbs. Opting for refurbished models can often save you a significant amount of money, especially if you’re looking for a high-end model. Woot has some excellent refurbished TVs from Sony, Samsung and LG that you can shop right now — so long as you’re okay with a few surface marks.

The LG C4 OLED TV is our top pick for best OLED TV value. According to our expert Ty Pendlebury, “It has all of the features you need including 4K/120Hz gaming support, Dolby Vision and onboard streaming,” and is similar enough to the newer C5 that you should probably just go for the cheaper option. Woot has the 48- and 65-inch models available for $630 and $950, respectively.

You can also grab the 2023 LG C3 starting at just $600 for the 48-inch model. Our TV expert, David Katzmaier, stated in his review, “In my tests over the years LG’s ‘C’ series consistently emerges as the best TV for most high-end shoppers, combining that great picture with a not-too-crazy price.” He also noted its best-in-class gaming features. If you prefer a larger screen, you can grab the 65-inch or 77-inch models for $850 or $1,180, respectively.

Looking for an even bigger screen for a theatrical experience at home? Check out the massive 83-inch LG G4. It’s the 2024 edition of our current pick for the brightest OLED TV, the LG G5, and it’s down to just $2,620 from its original asking price of $6,400.

Hey, did you know? CNET Deals texts are free, easy and save you money.

You can also grab the Samsung S90D OLED TV from just $900 or snag 2023’s S90C for only $820. Both models come with 4K upscaling and Pantone validation for optimized picture and color, as well as Dolby Atmos and object tracking sound lite for immersive sound. And Sony’s OLED Bravia XR A80L series is available in 55-, 65- and 77-inch sizes starting at $700.

It’s important to note that these TVs have screen surface marks that Woot attributes to Styrofoam rubbing against the displays during transit. However, according to Woot these marks are only visible when the screen is turned off and when the TV is powered on, the marks are not noticeable. The company also states that all units have been tested and are in working order and will deliver perfect color, clarity and performance. These models are also backed by a 90-day Woot warranty.

    TV DEALS OF THE WEEK

    Why this deal matters

When it comes to picture quality, OLED screens are top tier. But that quality comes at a hefty price, which is why investing in a refurbished model may be the way to go. Right now Woot has several refurbished models with screen surface marks available at a lower price, making it easier to upgrade. But be quick, these are some of the best TV deals on refurbished TVs right now and they could sell out at any time.
