The OnePlus 15 hasn’t quite launched yet, but pre-orders for it are finally live, which means you could end up with the phone in your hand in the very near future. Pre-orders went live for US consumers on December 4. As the latest flagship from OnePlus, the OnePlus 15 is packed with powerful components, including Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, as well as a huge battery for long-lasting single-charge usage.
The OnePlus 15 comes in two variations when it comes to RAM and storage. This also, quite obviously, changes the price a little bit. Not by much, though. You can pre-order the OnePlus 15 with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage for $899.99, or you can upgrade to 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage for $999.99. Nothing else about the phone is different between these two variations. So don’t let that sway your decision. It is important to note that only the Infinite Black color is available in the 256GB model. If you like either of the other two colors, you’ll need to bump up to the 512GB model instead.
OnePlus 15 pre-orders likely won’t show up before Christmas
There is one downside to the pre-orders for this device, if you’re planning on getting one right away. Even though it’s only December 4, these phones likely won’t show up in time for Christmas. Which means you won’t be able to wrap them up and place them under the tree.
According to the OnePlus website, which is the only place you can currently pre-order the phone, devices aren’t shipping for another 19 days. That will make it December 23 before the phones are shipped. If that ends up being the case, then it doesn’t seem likely that these will arrive in time for Christmas Day. There is a small chance that OnePlus says the phones ship in 19 days, but what it really means is that the phones will arrive in 19 days. That would put it just in time for Christmas for those who are the earliest pre-orders. Either way, it’s probably safer to assume these won’t arrive until after Christmas. So no one gets their hopes up.
