The Cyber Monday mattress sales officially ended yesterday, but there’s still time to save on a comfy side sleeping mattress. That includes my favorite, the Nectar Premier Foam Mattress, down to $949 at Nectar for a queen.
I used to only sleep on my stomach, but I switched to side sleeping on the Nectar Premier Memory Foam because it’s so cradling and comfy.
The Nectar Premier is one of the top-rated options in our best mattresses of the year guide and our favorite all-foam bed. It feels like a classic foam mattress with ample cushioning and a soothing, pressure-relieving hug for side sleepers. Our testers were also pleased with its edge support and motion isolation – two strong features for co-sleepers.

A side sleeping convert
I’m not normally a side sleeper — I prefer to contort my spine into a stomach sleeping position — but during testing for the Nectar Premier Memory Foam Mattress review I found myself naturally moving onto my side.
The Nectar Premier uses dense, thick memory foam comfort layers that contour to the body and move slowly, cradling you during the night. This is perfect for side sleeping, cushioning your shoulders and hips so you don’t wake up with aching joints.

During our tests the Nectar Premier also scored highly for edge support (the strong sides allow you to sit comfortably on the perimeter) and motion isolation. If you share a bed, you’ll be able to stretch out and you don’t have to worry your tossing and turning will wake up your partner.
However, the Nectar Premier offers less pressure relief for stomach and back sleepers (I struggled to sleep on my front during the testing period.) I found it comfortable for back sleeping but the response here was mixed: dedicated back sleepers might need to utilize that 365-night trial.
We also awarded it 3.5 out of 5 for temperature regulation. That’s a good score but hot sleepers are better off with a top-rated cooling mattress instead.
