Our first ever Tom’s Guide Sleep Awards is drawing to a close, so we thought we’d bring all of winners together here in one big final celebration.
From mattresses and pillows to sunrise alarm clocks and sleep trackers, these are the products we’ve tested, rated and now recommend for better sleep in 2025 and beyond.
Mattresses: Meet all our winners
A good night’s sleep starts with a good mattress. That’s why we spend so long rigorously testing each mattress we review (learn more about how we test mattresses). There were multiple mattress awards up for grabs this year, with the top award being Mattress of The Year.
The Saatva Classic is the top-rated option in our best mattress buying guide and after multiple rounds of voting, and looking through all our Saatva Classic mattress review data and testing panel notes, we decided to crown the Saatva as the winner of our main Tom’s Guide Sleep Award for 2025.
In fact, this luxury innerspring hybrid took home several awards, including best luxury mattress and best hybrid mattress.
Then we have best cheap mattress winner the Siena Signature, a budget bed that outperformed many premium rivals during testing, and best mid-range mattress the DreamCloud Classic Hybrid, a luxury-looking bed in a box without the luxury price tag.
Here’s the full list of winners from the mattress category…
Pillows
Rest your head on these cushioning and supportive pillows. Different sleep positions needs different headrests, so we’ve tested the best pillows for all kinds of sleepers, including the adjustable one-size-fits-all design that is the Coop Original Pillow.
The universally comfortable Coop Original Adjustable Pillow won best pillow overall, while underdog Nest Bedding beat out the likes of big-name brands such as Tempur-Pedic and Purple to win the best side sleeper pillow.
Here’s a full list of all the best pillows we tested this year, including our favorite pillows for back and front sleepers:
Bedding
There’s a lot more to bedding that just sheets. In fact, bedding can be just as important to your sleep as mattresses are.
The best weighted blankets like the five-star YNM Weighted Blanket are keeping us cozy, the best mattress toppers like the Tempur-Adapt + Cooling are enhancing and rescuing our uncomfortable mattresses, and the best mattress protectors like the waterproof Coop Ultra-Tech are keeping are bedrooms clean and accident proof.
Of course, sheets and comforters are an important part of our sleep setups, so we’ve honored the naturally refreshing Coop Cotton Percale Sheet Set and the year-round the Layla All-Season Down Alternative Comforter, too. Here’s a full list of the award-winning bedding:
Sleep tech
Sleep tech has never been as advanced, accurate, or high tech as it has been in 2025, so we were excited to pick the winners in this category (even though it was hard to choose).
With its outstanding sound quality and modern design, the Hatch Restore 3 won best sunrise alarm clock, while the snore-masking Soundcore Sleep A30 won best earbuds. But the star of the sleep tech category has to be the best smart bed, the Eight Sleep Pod 4.
This high-tech baby acts as a temperature-controlling sleep-tracking mattress cover. And speaking of tracking, resident sleep-tech expert Eve Davies was thrilled with what the wearable Oura Ring 4 could do and named it the best sleep tracker of the year. So, here’s a round-up of the best sleep tech this year:
