As we give thanks for cozy nights and binge-worthy entertainment this Thanksgiving week, there’s no better time to dive into new TV shows premiering on Netflix, Peacock and other streaming services, as well as cable and broadcast channels.

    Black Friday streaming deals

Black Friday streaming deals are already rolling out. Right now, you can get discounts on Apple TV, AMC Plus, YouTube TV and Fubo. Don’t miss out!

Two fan-favorite series kick off their final seasons. “Stranger Things” season 5 arrives at long last, promising to wrap up the Hawkins saga in a thrilling last chapter, while “Bel-Air” season 5 offers a dramatic conclusion to Will’s reimagined journey.

Music lovers can revisit history with the refreshed “The Beatles Anthology,” bringing the Fab Four into vivid focus for a new generation. Here’s our guide on the top new TV shows to check out this week.

Keeping up with new TV shows feels impossible sometimes. These days, I’m watching “Pluribus”, still slowly bingeing “Poldark” on Netflix, and of course, I’m excited for the return of “Stranger Things.”

    ‘Bel-Air’ season 4 (Peacock)

Will and the Banks family enter the fourth and final season of this sequel series juggling enough cliffhangers to fill a Malibu mansion. Will (Jabari Banks) is trying to enjoy senior year while the clock on his future keeps ticking louder, and Carlton (Olly Sholotan) finds his Princeton dreams taking a few unexpected dents.

Meanwhile, Viv (Cassandra Freeman) may be facing baby news, Hilary (Coco Jones) is reinventing herself yet again and Ashley (Akira Akbar) learns freshman year is no joke. Even Phil (Adrian Holmes) and Geoffrey (Jimmy Akingbola) feel a shift in their once-solid bond. Toss in some surprise cameos — yes, that’s Snoop Dogg — and the stage is set for a banger of a send-off.

Episodes 1-2 premiere Monday, Nov. 24 at 3 a.m. ET on Peacock

‘Prehistoric Planet’ season 3 (Apple TV)

    Watch On

The weather outside is getting frightful, which matches this new installment of Apple’s nature docuseries. Narrated by Tom Hiddleston, “Prehistoric Planet: Ice Age” takes viewers through a Pleistocene packed with mammoths lumbering across frozen plains, saber-toothed cats stalking the edges and those tiny three-foot elephants that keep stealing scenes.

Get instant access to breaking news, the hottest reviews, great deals and helpful tips.

The five episodes hop from tundra to jungle to desert, constantly rewriting what “Ice Age” even means. With Hans Zimmer’s score rumbling in the background, it feels less like a nature doc and more like time travel with a really classy tour guide.

Episode 1 premieres Wednesday, Nov. 26 at 12 a.m. ET on Apple TV

    ‘The Beatles Anthology’ (Disney Plus)

    Watch On

“The Beatles Anthology” makes a comeback, looking brand-new but still beating with the same heart. Restored, remastered and now capped with a ninth episode, the docuseries revisits the mid-’90s “Threetles” reunion that produced the Grammy-winning “Free as a Bird” and reopened the band’s vault of memories.

Instead of talking heads, it’s Paul, George and Ringo telling the story themselves. With Giles Martin freshening the soundtrack, the docuseries plays like a time capsule cracked open again. If Peter Jackson’s “Get Back” let us eavesdrop on the Fab Four in 1969, “Anthology’s” finale lets us hang out with them in the ’90s.

Episodes 1-3 premiere Wednesday, Nov. 26 at 3 a.m. ET on Disney Plus

‘Stranger Things’ season 5 volume 1 (Netflix)

Stranger Things 5 | Official Trailer | Netflix – YouTube

    Watch On

After more than three long years — fans have been waiting since the July 1, 2022 finale of season 4 — “Stranger Things” is finally back. Volume 1 of the fifth and final season unveils four episodes of Upside-Down chaos, suspense and heart. Hawkins is still reeling from the Rifts, Vecna is missing and still deadly, and the government has quarantined the town.

Eleven (Millie Bobby Brown) is in warrior mode, training to protect her friends one last time. The full gang reunites for one last, epic showdown. The wait is over, but the nightmare is back and more hellish than ever.

Episodes 1-4 premiere Wednesday, Nov. 26 at 8 p.m. ET on Netflix
