My first week of sleeping on the Avocado Molded Latex Pillow
Night 1: Consistent support helped me sleep through the night

To give you some context: while I didn’t (thankfully) struggle with any aches or neck pains, my sleep was mercilessly disrupted on many nights by the Beckham pillow’s unsupportive build.
I woke up multiple times to find that the plush pillow had flattened under the weight of my head during the night. It required constant re-fluffing and adjustments, especially for a combination sleeper (side and back) like me who changes positions during the night.

After a week
After a whole week of sleeping on it, I would say the pillow has delivered on the claims made by Avocado. It’s comfy, supportive and is perfect for side and/or back sleepers who need a firmer feel to their pillow.
However, even though Avocado terms it as ‘firm’, it cannot be compared with the solid build of the Tempur-Neck, our best pillow for side sleepers with neck pain, which is made from a single block of the ultra-firm and instantly pressure-relieving Tempur foam.
The Avocado is more on the ‘bouncy’ side, since it’s an all-latex pillow. Stomach sleepers may find it too tall and would be better off with a low-loft soft pillow. Our stomach-sleeping tester recommends the Tempur-Cloud, which rightfully fits the bill.
The Avocado Molded Latex pillow is also specially crafted to combat overheating. This illustrates how cheaper may not always mean better. We’ve always advocated for spending extra on good sleep products that enable you to enjoy the best rest possible, if they fall within your budget, and the Avocado Molded Latex Pillow is one of those picks.
While we need more time to fully assess the performance of the pillow, from our first impressions we’d recommend it to side and back sleepers, combination sleepers who alternate between these positions, and to anyone who’s prone to overheat or who struggles with night sweats.
