You can watch The 2025-26 Ashes live on 7Plus in Australia, streaming for free from 21 November until 8 January. The free stream includes English commentary, pre and post test match analysis as Australia face England in five test matches.

    The first test begins at 10:30 a.m. AWST / 2:30 a.m. GMT / 9:30 p.m. ET (Thu.).

Australia, facing England at home, will be confident of securing victories in nearly every Test match. However, Ben Stokes’ side has been meticulously planning for this series since 2023. Can the likes of Steve Smith, Travis Head, and Mitchell Starc carry Australia to victory, or will Stokes and Brendon McCullum’s regime conjure a performance for the ages?

The Australian platform will stream every wicket, catch, six and four from Australia. But how can you watch the The Ashes free from anywhere? Can you get the free 7Plus streams in the U.S., and Canada? And what phones is the app available on?

Here’s our full (and quick) guide on how to watch Australia vs England in The Ashes on 7Plus from anywhere in the world…

How to watch The Ashes free on 7Plus

7Plus will be showing the The Ashes for free to Australia residents.

You don’t need a subscription to watch their select games live.

New to 7Plus? Register for a free account or download the app on your mobile device (iOS/Android)

OUTSIDE AUSTRALIA? ACCESS 7PLUS FROM ANYWHERE WITH A VPN.

We used it to watch the Border Gavaskar Trophy last year and the coverage was superb!

How to watch The Ashes on 7Plus from anywhere

7Plus is only broadcasting The Ashes between Australia and England to residents of Oz.

Footy lovers traveling or working outside Australia will need to use a VPN to access 7Plus’s free cricket stream in the U.S., U.K. and Canada.

There are lots of VPNs but NordVPN is the one you can rely on to unblock 7Plus and stream The Ashes like a pro…

It’s really easy to use a VPN to watch The Ashes on 7Plus

    1. Install the VPN of your choice. As we’ve said, NordVPN is our favorite.

    2. Choose the location you wish to connect to in the VPN app. For instance, if you want to watch the free stream on 7Plus, choose ‘Australia’ from the list.

    3. Sit back and enjoy the action. Head to 7Plus, sign in, and watch every test match of The Ashes for free.

What will 7Plus’ Ashes coverage include?

7Plus is the best choice for streaming The Ashes this year, offering unparalleled coverage of all five Test matches.

Beginning with the opening Test in Perth, they will feature one of the best commentary teams in the game. A mixture of Australian and English perspectives will be shared, with Ricky Ponting, Aaron Finch, Stuart Broad, and the iconic David ‘Bumble’ Lloyd just some of the names involved.

7Plus recommend a minimum internet speed of at least 3Mbps to ensure standard quality.
