Amazon’s Fire TV deals just dropped early, and the new 4K Select is already at its lowest price ever. If you’ve been waiting to upgrade your TV at home without breaking the bank, this might be your moment.
Amazon has already put its Fire TV lineup on sale as part of the early Black Friday deals. The new Fire TV Stick 4K Select, which was launched last month, is already down to its lowest price of $21. This means you save 45% or $18 off the regular price.
The bundle with the Alexa Remote Pro is also discounted by 47%, dropping to a record low of $39 from $74. You do not need a Prime membership to get this deal.
Why Upgrade Your 4K TV with Fire TV Stick 4K Select
The Fire TV Stick 4K Select is the latest plug-in streaming stick, launched in October. It is also the cheapest 4K model in Amazon’s streaming device lineup.
On the outside, the Fire TV Stick 4K Select looks very similar to other 4K sticks. It is a small elongated device with an HDMI connector on one end to plug directly into your TV. However, it is more compact, making it easier to access tight spaces when connecting.

The big changes are inside. The Fire TV Stick 4K Select runs on Vega OS instead of Fire TV OS. This new operating system is designed for more efficient power use, allowing for a smaller chassis, and should make navigation and app launches faster compared to the Fire TV OS version.
In terms of media, the Fire TV Stick 4K Select supports HDR10+ content but drops Dolby Vision certification. This is not a major drawback since most 4K TVs already include equivalent display features. Amazon will also add Xbox Gaming and Amazon Luna support for streaming games through an update.
It comes with 8 GB of storage for apps, streaming services, and games, powered by a fast quad-core processor. It also supports smart home integration via Wi-Fi 5, so you can manage devices and accessories directly on your TV or give commands through the Alexa Voice Remote. Additionally, it works with Alexa+, though that requires a separate purchase.
