How do I add captions to an Instagram story?
When preparing a story for Instagram, use the captions sticker to manually add captions. Or open your Profile and select > Settings > Account > and turn on Captions for automatic captions on stories you view.
How do I edit a caption on an Instagram post that’s already live?
Open the post and select the three dots icon, then select Edit. Adjust the captions to your liking, then confirm to save the changes.
Is there a size limit to Instagram captions?
Captions can contain up to 2,200 characters (including punctuation), but only the first 125 characters will be visible above the “break.” Everything else will only show up when viewers select the “more” option.
