WinkBed only has a small mattress line-up and at the heart of it is the WinkBed — but what a mattress it is. With four firmness levels to choose from, this signature bed is designed to provide a luxury hotel-style experience that’s tailored to your sleep style.

As a premium hybrid mattress, it shares a high-quality build similar to the ones found in this year’s best mattress guide. You can buy a queen WinkBed Mattress for $1, 799 (down from MSRP $2,579) at WinkBeds, but does that mean you you should invest in the WinkBed Mattress this Black Friday?

The 30% discount at WinkBed is featured in our round-up of this year’s best Black Friday mattress deals, but if you’re still not sure, in this guide we’re exploring the price, design and comfort of the WinkBed mattress. We’ve tested it, so is the WinkBed is worth buying in the 2025 Black Friday sales?

    WinkBed Mattress: Overview

    Pros

    • Four firmness levels
    • Targeted lower back support
    • Luxury, hotel-style cushioning
    • Sturdy edges for sleeping

    Cons

    • Cooling upgrade costs extra
    • Higher cost for Plus model
    • Recent price hike

The WinkBed is a 13.5-inch tall hybrid mattress that comes in four firmness levels: Soft, Luxury Firm (the most popular feel), Firm, and Plus (for sleepers who weigh over 250lbs) .

During our WinkBed mattress review, we tested the Luxury Firm version which is recommended for all sleep positions and is designed to have a similar crowd-pleasing feel to the best medium-firm mattresses.

As one of the best mattresses in a box, the WinkBed is built to be a luxury hybrid, packed with dense foam layers and a sturdy coil system, that’s delivered straight to your doorstep. So, let’s see what else is included besides free delivery…

    WinkBed Mattress: Price & trial

    • On sale for 30% off, bringing a queen-size to $1,799
    • $300 discount used to be standard, now 30% off but Black Friday
    • 120-night sleep trial, lifetime warranty, and free shipping and returns

For the longest time, WinkBed had a $300-off-all-sizes sales, but that’s been replaced this Black Friday by a new 30% discount. This 30% sale saves you more than the standard $300 discount, but we should note that the MSRPs have increased, meaning the overall price is slightly higher.

Get instant access to breaking news, the hottest reviews, great deals and helpful tips.

For instance, you can now save $428 on a twin size, reducing the final price to $999 from an MSRP of $1,427. But while the old discount only saved you $300, the MSRP was $1,149 — so you paid a lower price of $849 overall. A queen has also jumped from the previous standard sale price of $1,499 up to $1,799.

This is disappointing but not surprising, as many brands (including Saatva, the brand behind our top-rated mattress) have been raising their MSRPs due to the mattress tariffs introduced earlier this year. Despite the rise, the WinkBed pricing is still comparable to the best luxury mattresses.

So, while the WinkBed is more expensive than it was last Black Friday, this Black Friday probably reflects the lowest price you’ll see in the mattress sales moving forward.

Here are the MSRPs and the current Black Friday sale prices of all WinkBed sizes:

    • WinkBed Twin MSRP: $1,427 (now sold at $999)
    • WinkBed Twin XL MSRP : $1,713(now sold at $1,199)
    • WinkBed Full MSRP: $2,141(now sold at $1,499)
    • WinkBed Queen MSRP: $2,570 (now sold at $1,799)
    • WinkBed King MSRP: $2,857 (normally sold at $1,999)
    • WinkBed Cal King MSRP: $2,856 (normally sold at $1,999)

Still, the generous benefits have luckily been unaffected, as you can still get free shipping and returns, a 120-night sleep trial (more than enough time to decide if you like it) and a lifetime warranty (a credit to its durability).

    WinkBed Mattress: Design & materials

    • 13.5″ mattress that comes in a Soft, Luxury Firm, or Firm
    • A fiberglass-free foam-and-coil design with a quilted Euro-pillow top
    • Also comes in a Plus design for those who weigh over 250lbs

The WinkBed has a foam-and-coils design like the ones you’ll find in the best hybrid mattress guide. Standing at 13.5 inches tall, the WinkBed is a thick mattress owing to its quilted Euro pillow top, layers of memory foam, and a coil system.

It also uses a Tencel cover for a soft, breathable sleep surface, and uses an eco-friendly flame barrier of cotton and rayon for a fiberglass-free bed.

There are a few differences between WinkBed models, however. For example, the Plus version contains durable latex and the Soft version contains extra comfort foam.

    WinkBed Mattress: Comfort & support

    • We tested the Luxury Firm (6.5/10), designed for all positions
    • Provides targeted support for the spine, with enough cushioning, too
    • Hot sleepers may need the cooling cover upgrade

We chose the Luxury Firm model of the WinkBed to test in our WinkBed Mattress review, as it’s a bestseller and is designed to cater to all sleep positions. We (mostly) agree with the brand’s medium-firm 6.5/10 rating for mattress firmness, with testers concluding its 6-7 on the scale.

Our testers praised this luxury hybrid bed for its excellent support, cushioning pressure relief, and the zoned coils that provide sturdy firmness to the lumbar, with softer comfort at the head and foot of the bed. This ensures the mattress is firm where you need support and softer where you want cushioning, ideal for the side sleepers on our team.

With that in mind, some side sleepers (particularly lightweight side sleepers) might prefer the Softer feel, which should offer more pressure relief at the shoulders. Stomach sleepers, on the other hand, should opt for the Firmer, which will have less sink to hold the spine aligned.

While we found the temperature regulation good, it’s not ideal for those who sleep chronically hot, so we advise upgrading to the specialist cooling cover instead. However, edge support is strong, so you can sleep right up to the sides without fear you’re going to roll out.

Should you buy the WinkBed Mattress?

    Buy the WinkBed mattress if…

✅ You have aches and pains: The WinkBed is designed to relieve back, hip, and shoulder pain, and we found the Luxury Firm offers excellent lumbar support.

✅ You share a bed: Reinforced, strong edges mean you can sleep on every inch of the mattress, a major plus if you share a bed with someone who likes to take up all the sleep space.

✅ You want comfort and support for all sleep positions: You can pick the firmness level that suits your sleep position or body type, but we think the Luxury Firm covers most sleepers.

Don’t buy the WinkBed Mattress if…

❌ You’re a very hot sleeper: The WinkBed doesn’t sleep particularly hot but if you often experience night sweats, we recommend either the cooling cover upgrade (although we can’t speak to its efficiency) or checking out our guide to the best cooling mattresses.

❌ You want a budget bed: The WinkBed is a premium-priced mattress due to its premium design, so take a look at our best cheap mattress guide for supportive picks under $500 for a queen.
