A good TV is the center of many homes, especially in shared spaces like the living room or family room. It’s a key component for any home entertainment setup, but top models are pricey.

We’ve found discounts on a variety of 4K models from trusted brands. With rising concerns over tariff price increases, these savings are worth considering. But these deals are only available for a limited time, so be quick to lock in these prices while you can.

TV expert David Katzmaier has personally tested and reviewed some models you’ll find on this list. Those that have not been tested by CNET directly have been selected based on the size, specs, features, design, brand and price.

Hey, did you know? CNET Deals texts are free, easy and save you money.

We update this page frequently with the latest offers. You can also check out our roundup of the best cheap TV deals, or view high-end options in our full roundup of all the best TV deals overall.

What is the best 4K TV deal right now?

Choosing the overall “best” 4K TV deal can be tough, as several variables come down to personal preference. Best Buy’s current TCL QM8 offer stands out from the crowd, as it is our top pick for the LCD TV to buy this year.

The retailer currently has the 85-inch model for just $1,800, which is a savings of $700. It has a stunning mini-LED display with exceptional brightness, automatic AI optimization, Dolby Vision IQ support and many other convenient features that make it one of the best TVs in this price range.

How we choose 4K TV deals at CNET

CNET’s team of deals experts has years of experience scouring the web to bring our readers the best TV bargains out there from trusted brands like LG, Samsung, TCL and more. We evaluate the size, resolution, gaming compatibility and smart features, and how the models we’ve personally reviewed performed in our rigorous tests, to ensure that you’re getting the most bang for your buck.

Additionally, we only source deals from trusted and legitimate retailers, so you never have to wonder if an offer is too good to be true.

There are a few factors you’ll want to consider when shopping for a new TV, including room size and viewing distance, but in general, we’ve found that a 65- or 75-inch screen is the sweet spot for most living rooms. They’re large enough to see clearly from most viewing angles, without being so large that they overwhelm the space.

Size isn’t the only factor you’ll want to consider when shopping for a new TV. Since most new TVs are smart these days, you’ll also want to consider which platform a 4K TV runs on, such as Amazon’s Fire OS, Google TV or Roku, as well as any smart home integrations you’ll want to make the most of, like Alexa, Google Assistant or Apple’s HomeKit and AirPlay tech. If you’re an avid gamer, you’ll also want to make sure that your TV has a suitable number of HDMI ports.

Like most consumer electronics, the best 4K TV deals will be found around major sales events like Amazon Prime Day and Black Friday. These events offer some of the best prices of the year and see multiple retailers competing for shoppers’ cash, which is good news for your wallet. Memorial Day and Labor Day often bring big discounts as well. We keep tabs on TV pricing throughout the year, and any surprise, out-of-season sales will be listed above.

When you think of nabbing a 4K TV deal, you should start at big-box retailers like Best Buy, Target and Walmart. These stores tend to offer some of the biggest sales on 4K TVs, both in-store and online, with online-only retailers like Amazon often matching prices, especially during the fall sale season.
