When Is Google Cloud Next 2026?
Google Cloud Next ’26 will take place April 22-24, 2026, at the Mandalay Bay hotel in Las Vegas.
The company hasn’t revealed much about the upcoming event, but they promise to “explore the AI and cloud technology… making new opportunities possible.” So, you can expect a focus on how Google plans to turn once-impossible ideas into practical tools.
The most recent Google Cloud Next event was held at the same convention center from April 9 to April 11, 2025.
How to Register and Attend Google Cloud Next
You can get full details about registration and attendance on Google’s Cloud Next website. The prices and benefits are:
- Full Conference: Access to all sessions and keynotes. $999 Early Bird/$1,999 Regular
- Partner: Access to all sessions and keynotes, along with special Partner events and lounge. $999 Early Bird/$1,499 Regular
Pricing changed beginning with the 2023 event; previous events were free to attend.
Google offered a Digital Pass that let you watch the livestream, participate in chat, and watch sessions on demand after the event.
What Did Google Announce at Cloud Next 2025?
One key announcement included the introduction of Ironwood, Google’s seventh-generation TPU designed for AI inference. Google says it offers five times more peak compute and six times more high-bandwidth memory compared to the previous generation.
Google also launched Cloud Wide Area Network (Cloud WAN), making its private, high-speed, global network available to enterprises worldwide.
Also announced at the event was an expansion of Google’s Vertex AI platform. By adding Lyria, the company’s AI music generation model, it’s the only platform to support generative media models across video, image, speech, and music. The company also unveiled Gemini 2.5 Flash, a cost-efficient, low-latency AI model where you get to control how much it reasons.
Other announcements focused on AI agents and developer tools. Google introduced the Agent Development Kit, an open-source framework for building AI agents, and the Agent2Agent protocol that allows agents from different frameworks to collaborate. Updates to Agentspace and the expansion of the AI Agent Marketplace were also revealed.
In Workspace, Google added new Gemini-powered tools for Docs, Sheets, Meet, and Chat. It also launched Unified Security, which is an AI-powered suite that combines its threat intelligence, cloud security, and secure browsing tools.
Google highlighted a breakthrough in quantum computing with the Willow chip, which the company says significantly reduces quantum error rates and sets the stage for future large-scale quantum systems.
